Admittedly, this took some planning:
$5,592 : Flying a Chef from Paris into “Boy’s Town” last minute round trip (Thank you Orbitz).
$339 : Patio furnature rental ( 1 x Craftsman style wooden table, 3 x butter lacquered solid beechwood chairs )
$174 : Delivery
$325 : Roof access and rental of roof of Pacific Design Center Green Building ( All Day Only + Clean Up )
$8,923 : 1984 Mouton-Rothchild ( 1 x Red Wine ). It was pretty good, honestly I have no pallet for wine. I should have gone for a nice cold Coors Light. Note for next time.
$75 : San Fransisco Sour Dough ( same day delivery from S.F. )
$2720 : Dry Ice packed Fairy Penguin from Southern Australia. I ordered 2 incase one got F’d up on the trip, they were both fine, cooked and tossed parts of the extra bird at people on the street.
$2,016 : One pound of Black Winter Truffles. Honestly I had no idea how much flavor these little guys had, I probably tossed 90% of it off the side of the building. Much better to throw then the penguin.
$1,102 : On Pound White Alba Truffles. They said this was a great deal, I personally think it was because they weren’t in season.
