I took a boat out and found some land not too far from home. It wasn't a lot of land, just a few blocks, but when I came back the entire map had changed and all of my hard work had been replaced with a new world.
So I started a new map, and keep finding blocks missing after I place them, torches not staying where I place them... etc...
Time for a new addiction.

I love the way CS5.5 for Flash & PhotoShop hate fonts. You can see here, with how the rendered SWF pushes the fonts south a few Pixels. It makes it havoc to design in. PhotoShop however, likes to take forever to load fonts into memory, or just crash when the font tool is selected. Other fun CS5.5 features include: Flash's in-ability to save assets correctly in the library. You open a MovieClip, make changes to it, and when you open the Flash file again, your changes have been un-done. So it can double production time. How awesome is that?!

It has been a few weeks, and Windows 7 completely sucks. Luckally, once I am in the software, I don't have to think about the OS.

People forget that it was made for the military, so it had to be simple and easily adaptable. I do feel like the internet has lost it's way, but them's the breaks.

Now if there were only more guides written out like this. What is funny is that every time someone asks me a question about how I make web pages or something, I give simple straight forward explanations like the above. The problem is people think I'm lying or don't know what I'm talking about because surely it can't be that simple. Oh well.
